How does the Stake Pocket Truck Rack attach to my truck and how secure is it?
Inserts are placed down into the stake pockets and connect to the base of the rack and each corner of the bedrail and prevent the rack from being removed. These inserts are quite secure, particularly since the design of the rack integrates bracing to prevent shear forces from twisting the rack both from side to side and front to rear. This truck rack will safely carry up to 400 lbs. of cargo when the load is evenly distributed. See installation instructions at this link: Stake Pocket Instructions
