DUAL TRUCK RACK
Model 2009-3FS
DUAL RACK MODEL 2009-3FS
| • |
This sturdy two-section steel rack is designed for pickup trucks with conventional metal fleetside bedrails, and carries loads up to 60 inches wide and weighing up to 300 lbs. (Optional extra-wide 72-inch crossbar is available). |
| • |
One section is placed at the front of the bed and one at the back or at any other location along bedrails. |
| • |
Each section of the rack consists of a dual crossbar supported by legs connected to bases that mount atop the bedrails and lock in place using a powerful, integrated clamping system. |
| • |
It installs without additional tools and WITHOUT DRILLING in about 5 minutes. |
| • |
The Dual Rack is especially suited as a kayak truck rack or a canoe truck rack, because its sturdy dual truss crossbar has a round Yakima-shaped bar on one side and a rectangular Thule-shaped crossbar on the other. Flip the crossbar around to mount all common brands of kayak and canoe accessories to the rack. |
| • |
Rubbery padding helps protect truck surfaces. Four rope cleats on the legs, 4 tie-down loops on the crossbars, and 4 eye holes in base gussets permit easy anchoring of cargo with ropes or ratchet straps |
| • |
Easily removes and stores in a few minutes.
Particularly popular choice for the paddler or weekend handyman! Rack exterior is powder-coated black. Threaded hardware is stainless steel. Box size is 60 x 6 x 7 inches; shipping weight is about 54 lbs.
NOTE: Does NOT fit Honda Ridgeline, Chevy Avalanche, Ford Explorer Sport-Track, or step-side trucks. |
If you want a rack that installs with the use of nuts and bolts on trucks with convention metal bedrails, see model 2009-3B. If you have a newer model Toyota truck with the Deckrail System or a Nissan truck with the Utili-track System see model 2009-3TRA.
