The Windstreamer truck rack is a multi-purpose aluminum rack that is light weight and easy to install*. It only weighs about 50 lbs. but carries up to 400.

This ladder rack for pick up trucks installs easily without drilling your pickup and holds securely. It can be removed in less than 5 minutes and can be easily disassembled for more compact storage

Each section of the rack is independent. This means that each section can be moved anywhere along the bedrails, and that as a sturdy lumber rack it can be easily loaded with a forklift.

Windstreamer truck racks fit pick ups with conventional fleetside bedrails or Cargo Management Track Systems and they lock securely onto the bedrail or into the track system. |

The crossbars and legs are extruded aluminum containing two internal reinforcing ribs. A fir spare is embedded within the crossbars to further stiffen and strengthen them.

*The four bases of these pick up racks as well as the gusset hardware that connect the crossbars to the legs and the legs to the bases are fabricated from sturdy and reliable carbon steel. After fabrication these parts are first acid etched and zinc-plated and then powder coated a silvery color to correspond to the aluminum members. All threaded parts are stainless steel.

Our aerodynamic crossbars are flat on top to gently support loads, and rounded front and rear to allow smooth and quiet airflow and improve gas mileage.

Because it sits flat on the bedrail, this work truck rack can be configured to work with most cross-mounted tool boxes.

The Windstreamer truck rack is versatile enough to haul building materials or simply carry ladders, kayaks or canoes.

Our regular-size truck racks fit trucks with ordinary height cabs. Tall-size truck racks fit the extra-tall Ford Super-Duty trucks and Dodge Mega-cabs.

Each rack has eyelets in the gusset at the base of each leg so tying down cargo with ratchet straps is a synch. Optional rope cleats are also available for mounting on the legs.

The Windstreamer Racks for trucks fit truck beds of all widths, but the height is fixed at either 25.5” for most cabs or 27.5” to fit the extra-tall Ford Super Duty and Dodge Quad Cabs.

One half of a rack may be purchased for use as a headache rack mounted right behind the cab, or it may be mounted near the tailgate and used in conjunction with a roof rack.
